2012-06-05:
The period where you can try CXU for free has been extended until the 31st of December 2012. Some minor improvements has been added to CXU:

• When placing the cursor on a DB2-commandname the result is displayed as ==MSG> lines instead of in a VIEW session. This makes it much faster to see the changed status of some command like -DIS UTIL. Read about the details using the above link.
• When placing the cursor on a DB2 table name, the names of the columns in the indexes are displayed instead of numbers provided there is room enough for it.
• When placing the cursor on a DB2 view name, the indexes for the underlying table are displayed.
• If the SQL statement text contains double quotes (") they are ignored. Double quotes in constants are not.

2011-11-29:
The January release of CXU has been finished one month ahead of schedule. The christmas present from CXU to you are the following functions:

• Place the cursor on the line-command field in the SQL result created by CXU, press the CXU-key and the contents of the row is displayed in a new VIEW-session with one column on each line.
• Place the cursor on a DB2-commandname (remember the dash (-) in front of the command like in -DISPLAY), press the CXU-key and the command is executed. The result is displayed in a VIEW-session.
• Write two consecutive SQL SELECT statements. Using the &DB2SYS-parameter you specify the first SQL statement to be executed by DB2 system A and the second SQL statement to be executed by DB2 system B. Instead of separating the two SQL statements using a semicolon (;) you type in XUNION. Now place the cursor on SELECT in the first SQL statement and press the CXU-key. The two SQL statements are now executed by separate DB2 systems, the result is merged into one dataset and displayed in a VIEW-session.

2011-09-30:
Finally the english version of the CXU site is ready. Please download a fully functional and free CXU license which works for the rest of the year 2011. You can also order a CXU license which will be free for the rest of the year and will work for all of the year 2012.

2011-08-25:
The CXU site is now fully fledged, but unfortunately only in danish. All pages in english just contains a message telling you that the english version is not ready yet :-( I am working hard on the english translations. If you are able to read danish, please click on the danish flag in the upper right corner to switch to danish.

2011-06-17:
The first version of the CXU manual in danish is now ready to use. An english version will soon be avaliable. If you have any comments on the danish manual I will be pleased to hear from you. Send a mail or use the user group.

I have also added a little more information on the starting page and it is now easier to display. Click on the X in the CXU logo!
